Truth Revealed! Was Aaron Carter Arrested For His Fame?

New details have been exposed about Aaron Carter's arrest, and RadarOnline.com is the first to reveal that the star's celebrity status may have been the real cause behind the absurd incident.

On a statement to RadarOnline.com, Carter revealed that he feels his "celebrity" was targeted and an attorney will be retained in this matter. A video from Auto Zone will reportedly prove that the star was not in a moving vehicle while arrested and charged with a DUI.

The singer, as RadarOnline.com readers know, had been traveling across the state to promote his hit single "Sooner or Later" when one of the tires in his car when out of alignment. He stopped at an Auto Zone to fix the issue, and was suddenly detained by several police officers. The officials were reportedly aggressive towards the star and revoked his rights to have an attorney.

The star was the arrested for DUI and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana. In the statement, Carter claims that he has a license for medical marijuana due to his long-standing anxiety.

Carter has now been released from jail after paying his $4,610 bond.

Girlfriend Madison Parker – who was arrested with the musician for obstruction and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana – is still behind bars, as she has not paid her bond.
