‘Today’ Show Terror! Stars Fear Bloodbath As NBC Reveals Secret Megyn Kelly Plan

Today show stars are fearing the axe after NBC honchos announced their secret plan for new star Megyn Kelly, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Kelly, 46, “wants to do a smart morning political show and wants to hire her own staff,” the insider said. “But NBC are pushing for more of a daytime show with an audience like Phil Donahue under the Today umbrella and staff.”

So in the meantime, the source said, the network has decided to start Kelly with a weekend slot, moving to weekday from there.

Leaving Kelly’s final fate up in the air, however, has Today staffers seeing red.

"It is a mess and causing massive internal drama,” an insider told Radar. “The staff at the Today show’s 9 and 10 a.m. hour do not know if they should be looking for new jobs.”

Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb have been kept in the dark about what is happening to their show and are livid,” the source claimed. “And now Megyn is pissed that she's going to get a slow rollout starting with just a weekend show that no one care about."
