In the hit new show, Bill Cosby: An American Scandal, experts take a look deep inside the secret life of America's once favorite dad — including the shamed comedian's taste for dangerous party drugs.
"In the 70s, Quaaludes were definitely a preferred party drug," said one expert on the program, highlighting Cosby's close friendship with Playboy tycoon Hugh Hefner.
"A number women have come forward to claim that Hefner himself has referred to them as 'thigh openers,'" said Dylan Howard, Editor-in-Chief of the National ENQUIRER, "the suggestion being that they would lead a woman to bed. So it's not out of the realm of possibility to think that Bill Cosby could have become fascinated with the use of quaaludes under the mansion's roof."
