Nicole Houde, a 26-year-old former Miss New Hampshire USA, has been arrested in her home state, accused of punching, kicking, scratching and biting her boyfriend after a spat last week.
Police said the incident occurred when Houde, the pageant’s winner in 2010, erupted on her boyfriend, 33-year-old Scott Nickerson, after he took her cellphone and refused to return it, thinking she was having an affair.
The Manchester native Houde, who currently makes a living as a make-up artist, personal trainer and pageant coach, was booked on Wednesday.
