The Voice‘s Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera appear not to have the best chemistry on the NBC hit in its’ first season, and on Monday’s Tonight Show, Jay Leno prodded the Maroon 5 singer for details on the rocky relationship.

“Is there actual tension there with Christina?” Leno asked the 32-year-old Makes Me Wonder singer.
“They fabricate a lot of that — a lot of that’s reality television fodder,” said Levine, who’s dating Russian model Anne Vyalitsyna.
Leno replied, “But some of it’s real …”

“What are you trying to do?” the Grammy-winner said, mocking Leno’s mannerisms. “She’s fine: We bicker like brother and sister.”
