George Lopez has formally filed a response in the divorce proceedings with his estranged wife Ann.
George doesn’t list a date of separation but cites irreconcilable differences as reason for the split.
The papers also state that he wants to pay Ann spousal support.

The comedian is seeking joint custody of the couple’s daughter.
Ann filed for divorce from George on November 23. Ann donated a kidney to George several years ago.
