It was no pain, no gain on Dancing with the Stars Monday, as Olympic skater Evan Lysacek danced to the night’s highest score with 52 points despite a numb left leg and two broken toes.
RadarOnline.com‘s Tina Malave caught up with the figure skater and asked him how his Olympic training has helped him cope with the pains of ballroom dancing.
“I almost learn to enjoy it and it’s part of my everyday life,” Lysacek told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “And I know I’m working hard when something hurts.”
ESPN’s Erin Andrews was shown in segments suffering miserably from back pain, but managed to dance to a middle-of-the pack score with 39 points.
Andrews told RadarOnline.com that the injury is “seriously, not a big deal,” and said that she will focus on her pre-practice stretching to prevent the pain from flaring up again.
Dancing With The Stars begins at 8/7c Mondays and Tuesdays on ABC.
