Calling All Gleeks!
Apr. 8 2010, Published 9:33 a.m. ET
Just in time for Glee's return, Lea Michele is calling on all "Gleeks" to do some spring cleaning and rid their closets of fur. In a new PETA public service announcement (PSA) titled "If You Wouldn't Wear Your Dog, Please Don't Wear Any Fur," Michele urges her fans to leave fur where it belongs—on animals.
"Everyone wants to fit in and feel like they belong," says Michele in the PSA. "But sometimes you have to take a stand and step away from the crowd. With so many fashionable, cruelty-free options available, there's really no excuse for joining a club that wears someone else's coat."
