Rocker Bret Michaels is in a hospital and suffering from a brain hemorrhage also known as a subarachnoid hemorrhage, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.
The star of Celebrity Apprentice and front-man for Poison is in ICU and will be undergoing CAT scans, MRIs and an angiogram.
The 47-year-old is in critical condition, his publicist Joann Mignano told RadarOnline.com, “We will have no additional information until further testing is done.”
Celebrity reaction is coming in quickly. Donald Trump said to RadarOnline.com “He’s a great competitor and champion and I hope he will be fine.”
His teammate from Celebrity Apprentice, comedian Sindbad, tells RadarOnline.com exclusively “I pray that he will be ok. I hope that he is safe. No one should have to go through that. Man, I hate to hear that and I hope he will be ok.”
This emergency visit to the hospital comes less than two weeks after Michaels checked into a hospital in San Antonio, Texas for an emergency appendectomy.
As People.com first reported Bret was rushed to an undisclosed hospital on Thursday night complaining of “an excruciating headache.”
It’s not known how these recent medical problems will be affected by his existing diabetes.
