Charlie Sheen is being shadowed by a “sober coach,” even as he works on the set of his hit show Two and a Half Men, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

The actor pled not guilty in Aspen on Monday to domestic violence charges and is still in rehab.

He is filming his show during the day and returning to rehab at night.

Now, RadarOnline.com has learned that Charlie – by his own choice – is being followed by a “sober coach” all day to make sure that he does not drink or do drugs.

Brooke Mueller’s 911 Call – I’m Scared For My Life

“Charlie wants to get clean,” one source told RadarOnline.com. “He’s got his demons and he knows it. But he’s doing everything he can right now.”

Charlie went into rehab because he started drinking again and doing cocaine, sources told RadarOnline.com. His wife Brooke Mueller also went into rehab, but bolted and is receiving treatment at home.

Mueller is an alcoholic and is addicted to crack.

EXCLUSIVE: Woman Who Slept With Charlie Sheen And Wife Telling All

Sheen had a sober coach with him on Christmas eve but drank alcohol anyway when he and Brooke went out to dinner. That even ended badly with Brooke calling 911 and telling police that Charlie tried to kill her.

“It’s not easy to get through to Charlie,” said a source familiar with the situation. “And he and Brooke are awful for each other. But there’s no denying that he’s trying to get sober and straight and pull it together right now.”
