It's True: New Liars Album, Tour Coming This Spring!

The Liars have released new details about their forthcoming album, Sisterworld. "Sisterworld” is Liars’ own space, completely devoid of influence, somewhere remote from the false promises and discarded dreams amassed in LA," the band said in a press release. "In it, Liars explore the underground support systems created to deal with loss of self to society." The debut single from the album, Scissor, will be released February 16; Sisterworld hits stores March 9 on CD, vinyl formats. A special edition double CD includes covers of Sisterworld tracks from Thom Yorke, Devendra Banhart and Alan Vega, among others. The Liars embark on a spring tour, along with Fol Chen, in support of the new album beginning April 10 at Los Angeles' El Rey Theatre.
