VIDEO: Macy Gray, Ashley Hamilton First To Be Voted Off DWTS

Singer Macy Gray and George Hamilton's son, Ashley, were the first pair of contestants voted off the ninth season of ABC's Dancing With The Stars Wednesday night.

"Ballroom isn't my calling exactly,” Gray, a 42-year-old Grammy-winner, said. "But I learned a little bit."

She later wrote on her Twitter account: "Thank you to everybody who voted for us. Specially those who voted a buncha times, like my ma. Thank you thank you."

Hamilton, whose Monday foxtrot with sexy pro-dancer Edyta Sliwinska failed to inspire voters, was also gracious in defeat.

"It's been a blast," the 34-year-old said after his ouster. "I've had a great partner and it was a great experience."

Elsewhere in the DWTS world, the surprisingly-talented Kelly Osbourne showed modesty in expressing her relief after stealing the show on Tuesday's episode.

Tweeted Osbourne: "at one point i really thought i was going to go home tonight thank you so much again to everyone that voted for me!"

Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8/7c and Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC.
