A date has been set for Shawne Merriman to appear in court following his arrest for battery and false imprisonment.
Paul Levikow, spokesperson for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office tells RadarOnline.com, “Shawne Merriman was given a return date to appear in court, and that is Tuesday. If no decision has been made by our office to file the case or not, Merriman will have to appear in court as he was arrested for felonies. If the decision is made not to file the case, obviously he won’t be required to appear.”
In the early morning hours on September 6th, Tila Tequila made a citizens arrest against her boyfriend, San Diego Chargers star linebacker, Shawne Merriman.
Lawyers for Tequila and Merriman haven’t responded to repeated requests for comment.
