TV: MONDAY HOT LIST

Wow, it seems like years since we were last privy to the posh and scandalous lives of our favorite Upper East Siders on Gossip Girl.

Thankfully they’re back tonight and the latest drama does not disappoint! We have Nate and Serena trying to decide if they should be more than just friends. Then there’s that mysterious woman that Chuck saw creeping around at his father’s grave—is it his mother?

Of course Blair just won’t let it rest. And Dan and Vanessa are in a weird little spot. In case you forgot, Dan professed his love to her when we last saw them—but will Vanessa reciprocate? And honestly, do we want her to?

And, fans of The Bachelor, get ready—very few couples have actually made it down the aisle and tonight we get to witness the nuptials of Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney. If you recall, Jason rejected Molly at their final rose ceremony—and then promptly changed his mind!

Before vows are officially exchanged, we also get a peek at the wedding preparations and all the juicy highlights of the bachelor and bachelorette parties!

A panel of wealthy celebrities (including Candy Spelling) listen to contestants plea their case for why the panel should lend them money. Tonight’s “poor” hopefuls include a mother of 50 (yes 50), a woman who wants a car and a group of extreme dancers.

In the grand tradition of sitcoms like Friends and Seinfeld—How I Met Your Mother is becoming one of those shows that you’ll be quoting and referencing for years to come. One of our HIMYM favorites makes its return with the “Slap Bet.” It’s the ongoing anticipation of not if but when Marshall will slap Barney. Tonight, things heat up when Marshall hands over one of his slaps to Ted and Robin!

And, please try to contain your sadness but tonight is the last episode of Jon and Kate Plus Eight. You know this isn’t the last we’re going to see of the Gosselin clan (and those kids are going to write a hell of a tell-all one day) but for now, Jon and Kate (separately, of course) reflect on the changes as well as the ups and downs in their lives since the show first began. For the final bit of cuteness, we’ll also see Kate take the kids to a dairy farm and Jon take them to a fire station. Cute but the show has absolutely run its course!

We’re not going to lie. We were a tad skeptical when Barney and Robin finally got together on How I Met Your Mother. But, to be honest, we’re more invested in them than we are with Ted and his search for the elusive mother of his children! Tonight, Barney and Robin have their first fight and go to Lily and Marshall for advice. Just a hunch, but we think they may regret that decision!

On Gossip Girl, Olivia (Hilary Duff) appears on Jimmy Fallon’s show and does everything possible to make sure that Dan doesn’t hear what she said. Was it something about him? And you know, for a character that’s supposed to be a “movie star trying to be normal by going to college,” she still does a lot of Hollywood things! On another note, we sorta like that Blair and Serena are at odds yet again—tonight things heat up when Blair befriends another “it girl” to make S jealous!

And, over on VH1, Diddy is looking for more poor souls that want to to be tortured, er, employed by him on a new season of I Want To Work For Diddy. Off the bat, the new applicants are made to suffer through a lousy night’s sleep.
