Charity Feed The Children admitted Tuesday that they would be “disappointed” if the rumors that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have quit I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! are true. Montag had chosen Feed The Children as her charity of choice before she was whisked away into the Costa Rican jungle but based on the show’s premiere it looks like she has packed her Gucci bags along with her husband and she will not raise as much money as planned.

“We have not had any confirmation from NBC but we would be disappointed as we would have wanted Heidi to stay as long as possible,” Feed The Children spokesperson Tony Sellars told RadarOnline.com. “Obviously, we are grateful for her choosing our charity and participating and if the news is true then we will receive around 6.7 per cent of the overall pool of money.”

According to the guidelines fourth to eleventh placed contestants all receive 6.7 per cent with second and third getting 13.3 per cent.

“The winners take home 20 per cent of the total pool for their designated charity so the good thing is that no charity completely loses out. I watched the show last night and I felt that both Heidi and Spencer were really entertaining, so, from that point of view we hope they stay on as well.”

“The longer they can stick it out the better for our charity and thousands of needy kids around the world too.”

Spencer chose The American Red Cross as his designated charity. Despite various Internet rumors about the husband and wife team quitting the show, NBC has yet to release any formal statement

A rep told RadarOnline.com: “We are of course seeing all of the stories breaking, but are not commenting on this.  Hope that people will tune in to see how the story unfolds.”
