Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and LuAnn de Lesseps are three of the most familiar faces on the Real Housewives Of New York, but these veterans are refusing to sign on for a new season until Bravo pays up!
According to Page Six, the ladies have been holding out, demanding to get paid more for their zany on-camera antics -- especially after on-again-off-again housewife Bethenny Frankel returned to the cast to the tune of over $1 million!
But as Singer, Morgan, and de Lesseps bargain to get their paychecks closer to Frankel's, insiders say that they could be putting their jobs at risk. "Holding out could work against them," a source said, adding that "Bethenny is close with executive producer Andy Cohen. She has a long list of friends she can just find to replace them."
Still, egos are fragile among the feuding housewives. As RadarOnline.com reported some of the housewives expressed displeasure at Frankel's return, although it ultimately led to a ratings boost for the show. Frankel is already a successful Skinny Girl Cocktail mogul, and the insider reveals that "the other women aren't even close" to Frankel in terms of their salaries.
Believing there is strength in numbers, the women have formed an alliance to put pressure on the network -- but the show has gone on with Frankel, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley. "LuAnn, Sonja and Ramona have banded together in holding out for more," another source told Page Six. "They have not come to terms. The negotiations are always down to the last minute, but now the show's started filming... The others are not filming because they have not signed their contracts."
