Kailyn Lowry isn’t on good terms with her baby daddy Chris Lopez – but her relationship with her same-sex lover is better than ever! Becky Hayter revealed in a post on the Teen Mom 2 star’s blog that she’ll be in the delivery room when the baby is born.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Lowry, 25, moved on from her ex-husband Javi Marroquin after announcing their divorce in May 2016 with friend Becky Hayter. Although they denied a romance, they were caught on camera sharing a same-sex kiss in June of that year.
Hayter answered fan questions during a blog takeover on June 7. When a fan asked if Lowry’s delivery is going to be filmed for the MTV show, Hayter responded, “No it won’t be filmed, and I hope to make it there for the delivery.”
But Hayter will only be in the delivery room to lend her support, as she revealed during the takeover that Lowry “wishes” they were together.
Hayter explained that she is “happily taken” by her girlfriend Leah.
Hayter being in the delivery room is a snub to her baby daddy Lopez.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Lopez “helped” Lowry in the beginning of her pregnancy, but they went their “separate ways” when he ended the relationship.
“Kail became a relationship of convenience for him,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “He never actually loved her. It was a relationship, but he just decided he wanted something different and things didn’t work out so they went their separate ways.”
Although he hasn’t been involved in her pregnancy, a source told RadarOnline.com that she will contact him when she goes into labor.
“She wants to give him the opportunity to see his child being born,” the insider said. “She never said Chris couldn’t be involved with his child. She would hope he would want that, but she won’t force it or chase him to do so.”
The mother of Isaac, 7, with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and Lincoln, 3, with Marroquin is due in July.
