As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Evans was in NYC to get an MRI of her spine and brain.

Doctors in North Carolina where she lives blamed her symptoms—problems walking, restless leg syndrome, breathing issues and loss of coordination—on anxiety.

But Evans didn't believe that her condition was related to anxiety.

"They are testing everything now," a source said.

Evans has been open about her past abuse with drugs, even admitting that at her lowest point, she was spending $400 a day on heroin.

But after that, Evans claimed to get sober and back on the right path.
