Brad Pitt's image as a Hollywood golden boy has been forever tarnished just days into his divorce war with Angelina Jolie. But long before the allegations of drug use and child abuse swirled, RadarOnline.com has learned that Pitt was struggling with another major crisis: the loss of his looks!
"Brad is just terrified of aging," a source close to Pitt told Radar.
Now 52, "He hates the way that he looks right now and he is taking it out on everyone around him," said the source.
When Jolie fell in love with Pitt in 2004, while filming Mr.& Mrs. Smith, he was undoubtedly the hottest actor in Hollywood. But after 12 years together and six children, Jolie, 41, filed for divorce this week, citing "irreconcilable differences."
"Brad has always liked to party and have a good time," the source said, adding, "But it has gotten so much worse because he no longer has the confidence he once had."
