Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is making the most out of his last few days as a free man.

As RadarOnline.com has reported, the Jersey Shore star is due to report to prison for tax evasion no earlier than January 15. Sorrentino, 36, was sentenced to 8 months in prison on tax evasion charges on October 5.

Sorrentino, 36, is spending his final days being grateful for his accomplishments. “Closing out 2018 3 years Sober,” Sorrentino shared on social media, along with a collage of pictures from his past year. “Married to my best friend & college Sweetheart, working with my best friends on the #1 unscripted Series on TV… & the love of family, friends & fans. #grateful”

The newlyweds shared a photo of their first Christmas as husband and wife.

The Situation is giving back! Sorrentino also celebrated three years of sobriety during the holiday season, and served holiday meals to those in the Phoenix Recovery House in Eatontown, New Jersey for Christmas.

The MTV Star welcomed the New Year with a healthy heaping of Chick-Fil-A before trading in fast food for prison food!

And you can't forget the dessert, as he showed off his baking skills with his wife.

Sorrentino was ordered to pay a fine of $10,000. He's been trying to make money off of his situation, as he's been promoting "Free Big Daddy Sitch" merchandise.

Sorrentino is expected to surrender to the custody of Bureau of Prisons no earlier than January 15, 2019.

After his release, his nightmares won’t be over. Sorrentino will be on two years of supervised release, and must complete 500 hours of community service, along with paying fines and restitution.

He will also face random drug tests, get a full-time job, and undergo treatment in a mental health program approved by the probation office.
