A teacher at a private Christian school in Wisconsin has been accused of sexually abusing an eighth-grade student and buying him a gun and ammunition for his 14th birthday, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Tyesha Bolden, 34, allegedly met the victim when he was her student at the Pilgrim Lutheran School in Wauwatosa last fall, as Front Page Detectives reported.
Court documents state Bolden and the student traded more than 2,200 text messages, some of which allegedly contained nude images and flirtatious language.
Prosecutors claim the boy’s parents went through his phone one night while he was sleeping and allegedly found a topless selfie Bolden had sent him. Police said they allegedly found other photos on the phone, including Bolden nude in the shower and others with hickeys on her neck.
Investigators said Bolden allegedly drove the teen to a wooded park at least once, in June, where the alleged assault took place.
After the alleged incident, the teen told police he asked Bolden to buy him a Glock 19 handgun because he couldn’t go out without “protection,” Fox News reported.
Bolden bought the gun, along with ammunition, and gave it to him along with some books for his 14th birthday, according to authorities.
The pair's “relationship” continued until July 21, according to the teen, when he asked her for money and another gun. Bolden allegedly gave him $1,000 in cash but didn’t buy him a second gun, which is when they stopped talking, Fox News reported.
On July 25, the teen’s parents called police to report him missing. His mother told police he may have been staying at his teacher’s home, court documents state.
On July 28, police in West Allis pulled the teen over while he was carrying the same Glock 19 the teacher allegedly had purchased weeks earlier, Fox News reported.
Police told a school administrator about the allegations against Bolden, so they questioned the suspect and she allegedly admitted to having the student spend “a night at her residence earlier this year,” officials said.

Bolden was fired and the administrator called police, authorities said.
On Aug. 15, Bolden was arrested and charged with second-degree child sexual assault and giving a dangerous weapon to a child, officials said. She was released on a $2,500 bond and faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted.
