Roseanne Barr has sparked fresh health fears after opening up about a secret heart condition.
RadarOnline.com can reveal the canceled sitcom star, 73, claims she had a "damaged heart" and says the condition is so worrying, she scared of "dying on a surgery table."
'I Have To Get My Heart Checked Out'

The veteran comic admitted she needs tests on her 'damaged' heart.
Speaking about a recent health update from her doctor, she said: "This doctor says I have to go get my heart checked out because it's damaged."
She continued: "So now I’m so p----- because I'm like, I need a new doctor.
"He's always sending me to other doctors to check me out, and I’m like, why do I have to go find something wrong when nothing's wrong?
"And then get in shape so I can have surgery and die on the surgery table. I mean, well, it doesn’t make any sense."
Why Is Roseanne Anti-Surgery?

Barr says she would rather live out final days in hospice care than have surgery.
Barr said that she doesn’t want to undergo surgery and would rather live out her final days in hospice care.
"I would rather not get ready for any sort of surgery ever again in my life and just get a heart attack or a stroke and just be put into a home.
"That is the life. Living in the hospice. … That's all I want. They know you're dying and they give you morphine."
In June 2025, Barr opened up about moving to Texas, where she experienced a tractor injury while mowing her property
She told Fox Digital: "I'm doing a lot of mowing. I've got a really fantastic tractor out here and I’m mowing.
"The only problem is I don’t clear the trees quite as good as I should and I’m always hitting a tree and knocking it over, and it always hits me in the head.
"So, I’ve had several injuries recently. I had this one tree … I knocked it and a great big old branch fell right on my head and trapped me in my tractor.
"So I knew I had to get out of there and it weighed about a hundred pounds."
Betrayed By Co-Star John Goodman

Barr is still annoyed Goodman scaled back appearances in sitcom without telling her.
RadarOnline.com recently told the veteran comedian felt betrayed when John Goodman, her costar on the hit '90s sitcom, didn't tell her he had decided to scale back his appearances on Roseanne in its last season.
"I don't think I heard it from his agent, I think I heard it from the producers of the show actually [that he didn't] want to be on the show anymore," the star explained. "I think they said he'll do six of the 24 or something like that."
Although she felt like she'd been stabbed in the back, she insisted she still kept things "professional" when they were on the set together.
The two stars portrayed husband and wife Dan and Roseanne Conner on the show, which ran for nine seasons on ABC. But in season 9, the actor appeared on only 12 of the 24 episodes.

Barr also remembered Goodman failing to stand up for her in rows with execs.
He returned for the revival, which began airing in 2018.
Barr said she felt let down that her castmates, and especially Goodman, didn't stand up for her during her various scuffles with the show's execs.
"None of them supported me in any of the s--t I went through the first show and I just had to sweep it aside and do the show," she said.
"I kind of learned to not speak to anybody on the set when we were filming in a one-to-one personal thing. When we went to work, I was always the character. That's even when I'd break to go get a cup of coffee, I was still the character."
