A San Francisco man was convicted of murder and elder abuse in connection with the death of his 79-year-old roommate, a crime partially captured on Zoom, RadarOnline.com has learned.
On May 30, Min Jian Guan, 63, was convicted of murdering Yu Quin Sun at their home in the Richmond district in June 2020, as Front Page Detectives reported.
According to the district attorney’s office, Guan first beat the victim with a baseball bat.
“The beating was partially captured on Zoom and seen by a witness participating in a virtual class with the victim,” the district attorney’s office said.
Guan then set fire to the victim, who was still alive.
