A popular Georgia social media influencer was found dead after her vehicle was set on fire, and now police say a suspect has been arrested, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Around 12:15 p.m. on Aug. 23, firefighters responded to a report of a brush fire in Austell, as Front Page Detectives reported.
Law enforcement found a burnt-out vehicle at the scene and officers were dispatched to the address tied to the vehicle’s registration. The owner’s daughter, 22-year-old Beauty Couch, usually drove it and she had not been seen since the previous day.
Police then returned to the scene of the fire and found Couch’s body.
On Aug. 26, authorities in Louisiana announced that 21-year-old Eugene Louis-Jacques was taken into custody in connection with Couch's murder, WWL-TV reported.
Sheriff Randy Smith told the station, “Let the message be that we do not take kindly to people who think they can commit a crime elsewhere and try to hide in St. Tammany Parish. We were happy to help our counterparts in Georgia by locating this suspect.”

Local officials declined to describe the nature of Louis-Jacques’ relationship with Couch, but some national publications reported he was her boyfriend, according to WDSU-TV.
Couch was known as an influencer on Instagram, where she had amassed nearly 150,000 followers. She often posted videos of herself dancing and roller skating, WSB-TV reported.
The victim's mother, Kimberly Couch, told WSB-TV, “She was a sweet girl, she never bothered nobody. She was a friend to everybody. She loved going skating. She loved going to work. She loved her clothes. She loved wearing her hair so pretty.”
Couch’s sister, Leila Brown, added, “I can't imagine her being in this situation at all because she was so lovable, so caring, so fun, and so amazing. She impacted a lot of people and she did nothing to anybody for anyone to want to do her like this."
