Casting for Season 14 of Bravo's Real Housewives of New York is underway, and producers are aiming for a mix of old and new.
After canceling the reunion for Season 13 due to poor ratings and internal discord, showrunners have gotten back to the drawing board with the hope of reviving the once-popular franchise.
According to an insider who reached out to celebrity gossip mecca Deuxmoi, Andy Cohen and company are looking to bring back three existing Housewives, two of which are "fresh off of their Peacock show."
Season 1 of Peacock's Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip featured RHONY OGs Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps, both of whom appeared in full-time roles on RHONY Season 13.
RHUGT Season 2, which will air later this year, featured RHONY OG Jill Zarin and fan-favorite Dorinda Medley.
It's unclear which pair of RHUGT stars the tipster was referring to, but they did include the word "hiiii" in parenthesis, which could be a reference to Jill.
A second source had previously told the outlet an OG was "in early talks/negotiations for a comeback next season" but noted that the role would be that of a friend.
"Think old school New York," the insider said, a sentiment that Deuxmoi also backed. "You shouldn't be surprised if they do bring an OG back," noted the outlet.
Sounds like Jill may finally be making her big return, but where would that leave Ramona? After all, she had a disastrous last season littered with racially and socially insensitive remarks.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, showrunners were at a loss regarding what to do with the controversial star. While she's a staple of the show, her antics just don't seem to be working anymore.
On numerous occasions during Season 13, she got into uncomfortable spats with the series' first and only Black cast member, Eboni K. Williams, who did not shy away from using her platform to "educate" her co-stars.
"Ramona is furious that the show is changing. She doesn't understand why her behavior isn't great TV anymore," a pal told us at the time. "After over a decade of being rewarded for saying and doing the things she has done, she does not understand what the problem is."
We were also told that Singer is simply getting too expensive.
As for her closest ally, fan-favorite Sonja Morgan, producers are reportedly on the fence but leaning toward a friend role.
According to Deuxmoi's source, Season 14 won't be all familiar faces! Showrunners are apparently looking to add "2-3 newbies" to the mix.
The fates of Williams and her once-friend, Leah McSweeney, remain to be seen.
