A newborn baby was found wrapped in plastic and stuffed into a five-gallon bucket in the back of an SUV in Ohio — and now, officials announced the mother and her 19-year-old daughter have been indicted on murder and other charges, RadarOnline.com has learned.
On Sept. 20, Hanan Ahmad Al Jabouli called 911 and reported that her mother wasn’t waking up, as Front Page Detectives reported.
Around 8 AM, first responders arrived at the scene and took 36-year-old Basma Abdul Alkelezli to the hospital, where medical staff determined she had given birth.
Police then headed back to the home and searched for the newborn and eventually found him in a vehicle in the backyard, officials said.
Deputies began CPR on the baby before taking him to a children’s hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Alkelezli and Al Jabouli were arrested and charged with abuse of a corpse, authorities said.
According to court documents, Alkelezli put her newborn son into the plastic bag and told her daughter to dispose of him.
Al Jabouli then put the baby in the bucket and then into the back of the vehicle.
On Sept. 29, a grand jury indicted both Alkelezil and Al Jabouli. Alkelezil was charged with aggravated murder, murder, involuntary manslaughter, strangulation or suffocation, two counts of endangering children, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse, WSYK reported.
