Following her arrest for allegedly slashing a stranger's face in front of a New York pizza shop, a New Jersey woman threatened to do the same to a judge during her arraignment, which the judge then sent her for a psychiatric evaluation before proceeding with legal proceedings, RadarOnline.com has learned.
On Sept. 1, a 65-year-old woman was attacked with a kitchen knife while standing outside 2 Bros Pizza, leaving her with a gash that required six stitches to close up, as Front Page Detectives reported.
The New York Police Department released images of the suspect, later identified as 52-year-old Ola Albanni.
She was seen walking on the street wearing a furry black jacket, a bucket hat and pink sequined shorts.
On Sept. 3, Albany was arrested and the knife used in the attack was in her bag, officials said.
During her arraignment on Sept. 4, Albanni told Judge Miriam Best, “I’m going to slash you in the face too if you put me in the cell for a long time,” the New York Post reported.

Albanni repeated the threat a second time to the judge before she launched into an incoherent rant, officials said.
Best then ordered her out of the courtroom and into a psychiatric evaluation.
According to The Post, Albanni previously punched a 34-year-old woman on the sidewalk in May.
She also threatened another stranger with a boxcutter.

She was charged with misdemeanor assault and menacing for those incidents and released without bond. However, Albanni later failed to appear in court on those charges and they issued a warrant for her arrest, authorities said.
For the attack on Sept. 1, Albanni was charged with first-degree assault and faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
