Search Continues For Missing 14-Year-Old Indiana Boy Who Vanished Following Argument With Mom: 'I Just Need You Home'

A 14-year-old boy in Indiana went missing following a family argument last week and now his mother is pleading for his safe return, RadarOnline.com has learned.

On March 17, the Indiana State Police issued a statewide Silver Alert for Scottie Morris, who was last seen around 8:30 p.m. on March 16 in Eaton, where he lives, according to Front Page Detectives.

According to the Eaton Police Department, Morris disappeared after there was some sort of conflict that took place in the home.

Eaton Police Chief Jay Turner said, “It was over punishment. And I think it was just a normal mom and son argument and he walked away.”

Over the weekend, search parties descended on Eaton and the surrounding area.

The searches continued on March 20, with the Delaware Community Schools providing buses and transportation for volunteers, according to the Star Press.

Chief Turner said police have never had any dealings with Scottie or his family and the staff at Delta Middle School noted the teenager is a “very nice young man.”

Felicia Morris, Scottie’s mother, pleaded with her son while talking with WTHR, saying, “I need to know that you’re safe. Please just call 911, tell anyone.”

She added, “I need you home. I just need you home, OK? And I love you so much.”

Scottie is described as a white male who stands 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, officials said. He has brown hair, blue eyes and was last wearing a white T-shirt, black and red shorts and black shoes.
