A Las Vegas man has been arrested after he allegedly killed his female roommate and then hid her body in a closet for two months, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Around 2:30 p.m. on July 26, officers responded to a home in reference to a possibly deceased woman, according to Front Page Detectives.
KLAS-TV reported that a family member notified authorities and said 31-year-old George Bone had told her Beverly Ma “was in the closet and had been there for two months.”
Once at the scene, police reportedly found Ma’s body and said she “appeared to have been deceased for an extended period of time.”
Officials said Ma and Bone met in high school, became friends and then moved in with each other last year.
A witness told police that she saw a very high air conditioning bill, so she went into the home on July 26 and Bone allegedly showed her the body, KLAS-TV reported.

The witness “noticed a cooler against the bedroom closet door, and the bottom of the door had a towel, which covered the gap, and Bone reportedly “told her that she can open it and see," police said.
Bone spoke with officers and reportedly said that Ma died in May. According to KLAS-TV, Ma called 911 on May 4 to report a man and woman screaming at each other. However, when officers arrived and knocked on the door, no one answered.
Investigators believe Bone strangled Ma that day, but the cause and manner of Ma’s death is pending autopsy results from the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
After Ma was killed, police believe Bone ordered multiple items through the victim’s Amazon account.
Detectives questioned Bone about why he didn’t call for help, and he reportedly claimed he was “afraid of going back to jail for being found with a dead body.”
Bone also told police he put a cooler next to the closet where Ma’s body was in case “Beverly rose from the dead like the movie The Grudge,” KLAS-TV reported.

Bone was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center, officials said. He was charged with open murder and failing to register as a sex offender.
A student came forward in 2012 saying Bone had “inappropriately touched” her when she was 11 years old while they were living together. He was arrested and charged with sexual assault and lewdness in connection with the allegations, KLAS-TV reported.
In 2013, Bone entered a plea deal on a charge of attempted lewdness with a child under the age of 14.
