If you weren't at Casadonna in Miami last night, you definitely missed out. The Premier Jumping League – the sport world's most exciting new venture – made its spectacular debut. The star-studded crowd that showed up to celebrate made it very clear: show jumping's moment has officially arrived.
Kate Bosworth, Camila Morrone, Joan Smalls, Erin Wasson, Chanel Iman, Lukas Gage, Dave Grutman, and Jessica Springsteen were among the glittering 300-person guest list. They descended on the Miami waterfront for an evening that was equal parts sports launch, art installation, and the kind of dinner party you'd move mountains to get invited to. The PJL was founded by Frank McCourt, who hosted the evening alongside CEO Neil Moffitt and President and COO Nick McCabe. The trio has built something genuinely ambitious: sixteen elite teams, fourteen iconic competition venues across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, and a jaw-dropping $300 million prize pot. This is designed to give the sport's world-class athletes the recognition they've always deserved.

The evening itself was a full sensory experience. Immersive horse projections gave guests a taste of the visual spectacle the PJL is bringing to the sport. Inside, Casadonna's resident mixologist held court at an interactive Old Fashioned bar. Custom signature cocktails – think Boulevardier with orange gelée and PJL-branded ice cubes – circulated throughout. The food situation was equally elite: fresh oysters, a premium raw bar, carving stations with prime beef tenderloin and branzino, and the most Instagrammable PJL-branded macarons we've ever laid eyes on.

What set the night apart from your average celebrity gathering was the genuine substance behind it. The PJL also welcomed some of the sport's biggest names. Laura Kraut, Ben Maher, Scott Brash, Harry Charles, Nina Mallevaey, and many more elite riders attended. Their presence made clear this isn't just a glamorous concept. It's the real thing.
