According to police, Robinson killed Wilcox by violently assaulting him in an apartment they once lived in together.

Prosecutors alleged that Robinson entered the room where Wilcox was in bed with Robinson's former girlfriend, Isabella Tagliarini, and proceeded to bludgeon him with a metal rod.

During the investigation, officials found Wilcox’s body in a dumpster in Plantation behind a shopping center.

Tagliarini helped Robinson clean up the murder scene, dispose of the body and dump the bloody mattress into a separate dumpster not far from the apartment, police said.
