A man in Florida was arrested after he allegedly beat his grandmother to death and severely injured his grandfather with a hammer and then called a housekeeper to help him clean up the home, RadarOnline.com has learned.
On May 17, Anthony Corrado, 34, called a housekeeper and asked her to help him clean up a “real mess” at the Naples residence, as Front Page Detectives reported.
The housekeeper arrived and reportedly noticed Corrado was covered in bloodstains, officials said.
Corrado then led the housekeeper to a bedroom, where she saw the deceased female victim, police said. She told Corrado that she had to get some cleaning supplies from her car, but she was able to flag down a Sheriff’s Office deputy.
Officers responded to the home and found the female victim with a bag over her head, WBBH-TV reported.
Officials said they also found a “male victim in another room wrapped in a blanket with severe head injuries.” He was taken to a trauma center via helicopter.

During the investigation, deputies took into evidence a blood-covered hammer on a countertop.
Blood was also found along the walls and floors inside the home.
Deputies said Corrado was “standing outside the residence with blood on his clothing."
Corrado was arrested and booked into the Collier County jail. He was charged with second-degree murder and aggravated battery on a person over the age of 65.
He is scheduled to appear in court on June 12.
According to a neighbor, the grandmother reportedly filed an order of protection against Corrado in 2018 due to domestic violence, WBBH reported.
