Quan Isom and his wife were attending their son's youth football game when he got into an argument with other parents.

The suspect, later identified as 40-year-old Quan Isom, attempted to leave the scene in a pickup truck, but officers arrived in time to stop him in the school’s parking lot, police said.

During the traffic stop, Isom began arguing with police and allegedly threatened to kill the K9 on scene, officials said.

Police were able to detain Isom in the parking lot at the game.

Once the suspect exited his vehicle, he reportedly refused officers orders to get on the ground and was eventually "escorted to the ground and detained,” authorities said.

According to court documents, Isom and his wife attended the youth football game because their young son plays on a Pop Warner football team.
