A man in Florida has been arrested after he allegedly got into an argument with his wife about the coffee maker and then proceeded to throw a package of Oreo cookies at her, knocking her to the ground, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, John Sandoval, 70, and his wife of over 40 years were sitting at a table during a recent morning when they got into a verbal argument about the coffee maker being out of water, as Front Page Detectives reported.
Sandoval then reportedly became “aggressive” and threw a package of Oreo cookies at his wife.
The package hit her in the chest and caused her to fall, deputies said.
While the wife was on the ground, Sandoval allegedly put his hands on her throat, but he did not restrict her airway, authorities said.
The victim did not report the incident until the following day after her daughter urged her to press charges, police said.
