A 63-year-old preschool teacher in Delaware was reported missing and now police have announced a 66-year-old man has been arrested in connection with her death, RadarOnline.com has learned.
On Sept. 25, the New Castle County Police Department issued a Gold Alert for Cynthia Amalfitano, who was last seen leaving her house on the evening of Sept. 23, as Front Page Detectives reported.
According to WPVI-TV, Amalfitano failed to show up to her job at Concord Preschool and Childcare, so her coworkers became concerned.
She worked at the school for 24 years.
Officers went to Amalfitano’s home in Wilmington on Sept. 25 to perform a welfare check on her, officials said.
During the welfare check, officers noticed her car, purse and cell phone were at the residence, but she was not.
