A Washington, D.C. woman with a history of DUIs has been arrested and charged with murder after crashing her vehicle into another vehicle, killing a Lyft driver and his two passengers while trying to flee from police, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Around 1:40 a.m. on March 15, a crash took place in northwest D.C., as Front Page Detectives reported.

An officer initiated a traffic stop on a Lexus SUV before the crash took place, according to United States Park Police.

A man and woman were inside the vehicle when an officer tried to pull them over, but the female driver refused to stop and fled the scene.

Shortly afterwards, officials say the SUV crashed into a Honda sedan.

Three men were inside the Honda and all three were killed in the crash. The three victims were later identified as Mohamed Kamara, 42, Jonathan Cabrera Mendez, 23, and Olvin Torres Velasquez, 22.

According to police, the man in the Lexus suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but the woman was determined to be in critical condition.

The driver was identified as Nakita Marie Walker, 43, and on May 22, she was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, officials said.

According to WTTG, the SUV had 44 outstanding tickets worth $12,300 with the District’s Department of Motor Vehicles before the crash.

Of those tickets, 43 are for speeding violations and one of them is for running a red light.
