Zooey Deschanel's Ex Files For Divorce After She Reveals New 'Property Brothers' Boyfriend

Zooey Deschanel's ex has officially thrown in the towel on his marriage to the actress and filed filed for divorce on Tuesday, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com
Jacob Pechenik filed the papers in a Los Angeles court citing "irreconcilable differences" as to the reason behind their split.
The divorce comes off the heels of Deschanel's shocking reveal she's dating Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott.
The duo went Instagram official after the actress posted a flirty photo with the reality star on her social media.
On Sunday, October 20, the couple shared the same photo on their respective Instagram accounts, showing them on a double date with Scott’s twin brother, Drew, and his wife, Linda Phan.
As for Deschanel and Pechenik, the couple announced their split last month after four years of marriage.
"After much discussion and a long period of contemplation we have decided we are better off as friends, business partners and co-parents rather than life partners," they said in a statement.
They met on the set of the Bill Murray comedy Rock the Kasbah, on which Pechenik was a producer, and have two children together, Elsie, 4, and Charlie, 2.
Hopefully third time's a charm for the star with Scott, as this will be her second divorce — the New Girl star split from singer Ben Gibbard in 2012.
