Monday's episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County documented a major life event for one castmate, as gorgeous Gretchen Rossi proposed to her longtime beau Slade Smiley, and we've got all the details for you.

Gretchen planned the ultra-romantic moment by having a limousine waiting outside the studio disc jockey Slade works at. The limo took Slade to a helicopter, which whisked him off to a picturesque rooftop in the Van Nuys. Calif.

There, his sexy lady was waiting for him, with a wordy preamble, "I want you to understand that being in love with you makes me feel like I'm on top of the world … I was allowing my past to get in the way of my future, but you are my future. I want you to be the father of my children, and I want to have a wonderful, maybe not perfect, but happy life together.

"What do you say?" she asked. "Do you want to do this?"

Rugged Slade dropped to one knee, telling the sexy blonde beauty, "What I want to say, is that it would be an honor and a privilege to have you be my wife."

Of course, the episode wasn't without its' fair share of drama -- and yes, it included Gretchen's new fiance, after he called her arch-rival Vicki Gunvalson "Tupperware face" on his radio show, a not-so-subtle dig at Vicki's history under the knife.

“That’s like to me, the devil," Vicki said of the hurtful jab. "Slade’s crossed a line and I’m not letting him get away with it this time.”

The remark surely sets up what's sure to be an angry run in on next week's season finale, when the Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Monday at 9/8c.
