Kristen Stewart won the Orange Rising Star award at Sunday night’s British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards, as the leading lady of Twilight edged out the night’s Leading Actress winner, An Education’s Carey Mulligan, for the honors in the fan-voted competition.
“I have to thank all the fans of Twilight,” Stewart said during her acceptance speech. “For proving, again and again, to be the most devoted and attentive fans ever.”
Stewart’s Adventureland co-star Jesse Eisenberg, Tahar Rahim and Nicholas Hoult were also nominated for the award.
The Runaways, the Joan Jett biopic starring Stewart and Dakota Fanning, hits theaters March 19.
