RadarOnline.com has learned that Miss California USA Carrie Prejean is refusing to make a scheduled appearance on Larry King Live Thursday night. Prejean had hired her own public relations team following the fallout over her gay marriage remarks, and she and her handlers reportedly backed out of the interview earlier today, leaving the show scrambling a source confirmed.
The source added that despite efforts on behalf of CNN and the pageant organizations, Prejean couldn’t be talked into making the appearance. Miss California USA director Keith Lewis and the president of Miss Universe are still slated to appear.
Donald Trump is also scheduled to call into the show.
A representative for Larry King did not immediately return a request for comment.
