‘I Don’t Care Anymore!' Redmond O'Neal Vows He Won't Get Clean After Drug Arrest

Redmond O’Neal has no plans to get clean after his disturbing arrest for allegedly robbing a store while possessing heroin and meth, Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal’s troubled son told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive jailhouse interview.

“I don’t want to go to rehab,” the 33-year-old addict told RadarOnline.com from Los Angeles Men’s Central Jail on May 24, when asked if he aspires to sober up. “I don’t care anymore.”

Though he was accused of robbing a Malibu convenience store for just $60 earlier this month, Redmond said he still has millions left from his late mother, who died of cancer in 2009.

“I have all this money but it’s not worth anything, it does me no good,” he complained, adding that he hopes to have children one day so he can pass on his substantial wealth.

“The only thing I want to do is to get married and have a child and leave it all his inheritance for them.”

Unlike most celebrity inmates, Redmond has relied upon a public defender instead of a high-powered Hollywood attorney.

“I don’t want a lawyer you have to pay for. I don’t trust any lawyer, but if you have a paid defense the judge looks at you differently, like you’re trying to get special treatment,” he explained.

Though he’s desperate to be free, Redmond told RadarOnline.com he’s “lost all hope” for a happy future.

Just one day after his interview with RadarOnline.com, Redmond was transferred to a different facility for a mental health evaluation.

He faces 10 years in prison for his alleged crimes.
