How Rude! John Stamos Banned Olsen Twins From His Wedding With Caitlin McHugh
How rude! John Stamos' bitter feud with his former Full House co-stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen has exploded into open warfare after he refused to invite them to his shotgun wedding to Caitlin McHugh!
Sources exclusively told RadarOnline.com that the 54-year-old actor dismissed the duo from his lavish Feb. 3 ceremony to the pregnant 31-year-old model-actress as payback for the Olsens passing up Fuller House.
“John says they’re stuck-up and unappreciative,” noted an insider. “He didn’t want them around for his special ‘I do’ moment.”
The Tanner twosome fired back by telling pals that Stamos was being “petty” — and how hilarious it was that he picked himself out a “child bride,” revealed the insider.
But their bitter words are far from the first battle in the ongoing cold war with Uncle Jesse.
Just last month, Stamos took a swipe at the 31-year-old twins when he wished Jodie Sweetin a happy 36th birthday in an Instagram post that included a throwback picture of him holding the Olsens alongside a young Sweetin.
“Happy Birthday Jodie Sweetin!! (From only one other person in this pic) XOXOX,” he wrote.
“John’s always been jealous that a pair of babies in diapers stole Full House from him,” the source claimed. “They became megastars overnight, and it took him years to land another decent gig.”
Stamos even admitted to once trying to get the twins fired from the famed TV show. During a Television Critics Association interview promoting Fuller House, Stamos said the crybabies stalled production.
“It was very difficult to get the shot,” he revealed, adding he even shouted: “Get them out!”
When the twins turned down the Full House reboot, it was the final straw for Stamos.
Said the insider: “There was no way he was going to invite them to the wedding!”
