Demi Moore's No-Limit Credit Card Stolen! Thief Racks Up $170K In Charges

Demi Moore has become the victim of identity theft after a conniving thief ran up $170,000 of charges on her credit card in a shopping spree at high end fashion stores in Los Angeles, RadarOnline.com can confirm.

David Matthew Read is currently on trial for federal crimes after he reported Moore's credit card lost or stolen — and then intercepted it from a courier, cops claimed.

After Read allegedly lavished himself with luxuries from Nordstorm and Saks Fifth Avenue, the 55-year-old actress' assistant finally realized something was wrong. 25 days after Read received his copy, the card was reported stolen.

Police also confirmed secret service had requested Read's details due to the large scale of fraud he has allegedly been involved in.

The federal lawsuit is still ongoing, and has been expanded to include an accomplice, Marc Ian Higley, who was accused of conspiring with Read to commit multiple frauds by stealing people's credit cards between February and April this year.
