Brad & Angie’s Kids Caught In Crossfire Of Ugly Divorce: 'They're Confused & Upset'
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s six kids are suffering terribly during their parents’ epic divorce and custody battle and fears are growing for their ongoing welfare, a source reveals to RadarOnline.com exclusively.
“This has been going on for such a long time now,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “No amount of money or help from nannies can take away from how heartbreaking it is to see their parents at war like this.”
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the divorce of the Mr. & Mrs. Smith costars has been anything but civil, with both sides arguing over money and the future of their splintered family.
Most recently, emotions heated during a he-said-she-said fest over allegations Pitt, 54, is not paying Jolie, 46, enough in child support.
Meanwhile, as mom and dad battle it out, kids Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10, are left to pick up the pieces.
“They’re confused and upset that things have turned out like this,” the insider added. “What’s worse is they can’t talk about their frustrations to either parent because they’re both so closed-mined and firm in their stances.”
Further complicating the kids lives is the fact that each parent calls a different side of the world home. While Pitt desperately wants to keep the kids stateside, Jolie seems ready to whisk them off to England.
“If Angie had her way they’d stay in Europe indefinitely but the kids are American and they miss their dad,” the insider admitted. “They also find it terribly hard being away from their LA homes and support systems.”
