Amber RIPS 'Stupid' Matt For Using Her For Money After He Ditched Book Signing
Amber Portwood and Matt Baier's rocky relationship has taken a turn for the worse! After the Teen Mom OG star's fiancé unexpectedly canceled a book signing, she called him out over social media for using her name to make money for the event. Fans lined up at a Greenwood, Indiana Barnes & Noble on June 6 to have Baier's memoir You Have No F*****g Idea and Portwood's autobiography Never Too Late signed by the MTV stars. But according to The Ashley's Reality Roundup, they canceled the event shortly after the 6p.m. start time!
Portwood, 27, went on a Twitter rampage when she received backlash for canceling the event.
"This had nothing to do with me," she tweeted. "I was going to support him. This is sad."
She then blasted her fiancé, claiming it was not her book signing despite the Barnes & Nobles description.
"This was not my book signing and I'm pissed off I'm getting backlash for someone else's stupidity," she fired. "It was his book signing. Don't use my f*****g name to make money and don't do that to my fans!"
She then ripped, "Now I have to take backlash for stupid people's mistakes. I'm so hurt about the situation. I cried earlier which is why it hurts me to be called a liar. I would NEVER do that to my fans!"
Although Portwood did not promote the event on social media, Baier, 46, encouraged fans to attend in the hours leading up to the signing.
A source close to the couple exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com why Baier stood up their fans.
"Matt is in Massachusetts visiting family," the insider said. "Matt has been jealous of Amber for going to the Teen Mom reunion in New York without him. They have been fighting."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Portwood attended the reunion without her engagement ring.
The mother of Leah, 8, called off her wedding to Baier in May after sources revealed that he failed a lie detector test about cheating on Portwood.
A source told RadarOnline.com that the reality stars are "still living together" and that Portwood has "not made any final decisions just yet."
Their relationship has been controversial from the start, as RadarOnline.com revealed that he had nine secret children with seven different women.
