Meghan Markle's first Fiji engagement without Prince Harry was cut short due to a scary security crisis.
This Wednesday, the former actress stepped out to the charming Suva market to meet with female vendors and learn about the UN Women's project, "Markets for Change."
The project promotes women's empowerment in marketplaces throughout the South Pacific — a cause which the openly-feminist Duchess is especially passionate about.
The gorgeous mom-to-be wore a colorful kimono dress and was all smiles during the outing, but at one point, something went terribly wrong.

Though no exact details have been revealed, it seems there was a security scare in the venue, one which caused Meghan's team to swarm around her and rush her back to her vehicle.
Kensington Palace told the Associated Press that the issue had to do with crowd management.
Vendors were reportedly so excited to meet the pregnant royal that they overcrowded the area, forcing her to leave after less than 10 minutes.
Regardless, Meghan, 37, maintained her composure even as she was escorted back to her car! Prince Harry, 34, would be proud.
