‘Big Bang’s Johnny Galecki Asks Much-Younger Girlfriend’s Dad For Hand In Marriage
RadarOnline.com can exclusively report that Big Bang Theory actor Johnny Galecki is headed down the aisle with his much-younger girlfriend! In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Meyer’s half-brother, Evan Bozajian, confirmed that Galecki, 43, recently asked Meyer’s father for his permission to marry his daughter. The actor first went public with his relationship to Meyer, 21, last summer. Despite the 22-year age gap between the two, Meyer’s sibling confirmed the two are crazy about each other. Galecki was spotted in Beverly Hills with what looked like a wedding band on his ring finger the day before Valentine’s Day.
Just days prior, Meyer showed off a diamond-studded ring on that finger on her Instagram. On Tuesday, Feb. 14, the hot model’s half-brother confirmed to RadarOnline.com that Galecki “recently” asked Meyer’s father for permission to wed her.
Bozajian confirmed that Meyer’s dad approved – and despite the rings on their fingers, he described it as “more of a pre-engagement.” "One day they don't have their rings on and the next they do. They don't refer to them as 'promise rings' but in anyone's mind, that's implied," the brother explained.
“My dad is old-fashioned so Johnny figured asking him for my sister’s hand in marriage would be the respectful thing to do instead of outright proposing on his own,” the brother told RadarOnline.com.
Bozajian said Meyer’s family have all met the star and believe he’s a “pretty good guy.” “He’s not some big Hollywood star with a bunch of ego,” the half-brother said. “It’s refreshing. He’s close to the family.”
In December, Meyer was flooded with questions from fans asking if the two had secretly tied the knot. Meyer shot down the rumors they got hitched, captioning a shot: “#notmarried.”
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Galecki previously dated his Big Bang co-star, Kaley Cuoco. Galecki and Meyer have happily displayed their relationship on social media in recent months. In November 2018, the two made their red carpet debut together.
Meyer previously worked as a fabricator manager and specializes in welding. She is currently focusing on event planning and producing, her brother said.
