Kelly Clarkson Settles Bitter Divorce From Brandon Blackstock, To Pay $1 Million Lump Sum, $45k A Month Child Support

Kelly Clarkson has hashed out an agreement with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock that brings an end to their nasty court battle.
According to court documents, the 39-year-old talk show host agreed to pay Blackstock — a former music manager who is now a full-time rancher — a lump sum of $1,326,161.
Clarkson will also start paying Blackstock a total of $45,601 per month in child support. The two share two kids 7-year-old River and 5-year-old Kelly.
The former couple agreed Clarkson will have primary custody. However, they will live the majority of the time in Los Angeles where Clarkson shoots her NBC show. Blackstock — who lives in Montana — will have custody one weekend per month.
The property Clarkson purchased in Montana that the couple lived in is awarded to the former American Idol star. Blackstock had been fighting for interest of the home but failed in the end. Clarkson is allowing him to live on the ranch until June 1 but he has to pay $12,500 a month in rent.

The judge also once again confirmed the prenup they signed before walking down the aisle was valid. Blackstock had been trying to fight the terms of the deal from being enforced.
The decision is a big win for Clarkson who makes nearly $20 million per year from her various television gigs, music career, and endorsement deals.
Clarkson had been paying her ex $200k a month in temporary support — $150,000 in spousal support and $45,601 in child support.
Per the court order, Clarkson will only have to pay spousal support to Blackstock until 2024. The singer has been legally single since the judge signed off on a request brought by the entertainer but now she is done with the back and forth in court.
The agreement also states Clarkson and Blackstock agreed to vaccinate their kids. She will also pay Blackstock a $50k reimbursement payment for traveling on a private jet with the kids. The couple will only put their kids on a private flight until they are fully vaccinated.
Clarkson will also keep "all guns acquired prior and during the marriage."
In the docs, obtained by The Blast, Clarkson was also awarded a pick-up truck, a Ford Bronco, a Ford F-250 and a Porsche Cayenee.
