She Said Yes! Sarah Hyland Engaged To 'Bachelor' Alum Boyfriend Wells Adams

Sarah Hyland’s modern family is growing, after she said yes to marrying beau Wells Adams.

The two announced their engagement on social media on Tuesday, July 16.

"That can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff @wellsadams," Hyland, 28, wrote on Instagram, sharing photos of the proposal, which took place on the beach.

Adams, 35, posted a video of the proposal on Instagram, set to the song “I Like to Be Me When I’m With You” by the band Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, along with the caption, “I’ll be Johnny, you be June. But forever.”

Adams originally appeared on season 11 of The Bachelorette, vying for JoJo Fletcher’s heart. He was eliminated in week 6, but went on to appear on season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, eventually taking over bartending duties from the beloved Jorge.

The D.J. was first linked to the Modern Family star in 2017, after they celebrated Halloween together, dressed up in coordinated costumes from Stranger Things.

“He puts up with me,” Hyland simply captioned a photo of herself at the time, sticking her tongue out, leaning into Adams.
