Lisa Vanderpump Reveals Heartbreak After Brother's Shocking Death: 'I Feel Depressed'

On the season nine premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump revealed she's felt depressed after her brother's shocking death.
On the Feb. 11 episode, Vanderpump broke down in tears to co-stars Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp as she spoke about the aftermath of her brother Mark Vanderpump's suicide in May 2018.
"I haven't been doing very well," Vanderpump cried. "I do feel depressed, I do."
Mark died at the age of 59 in the U.K. after a suspected overdose, RadarOnline.com reported.
The Vanderpump Dogs owner said she believed Mark "didn't mean to do this."
"It was a cry for help that went terribly wrong," she said.
Meanwhile, Vanderpump was dealing with professional drama, thanks to fellow housewife Dorit Kemsley. Kemsley adopted a dog from Vanderpump's charity foundation and it unintentionally ended up in a shelter.
Vanderpump sternly told Kemsley that she violated her business's contract, which states all dogs should be returned to her dog center. She also told Kemsley that her nemesis Mellencamp heard word of the dog faux pas.
"I don't want any private matter being brought up and discussed with anyone, especially with Teddi," Kemsley said.
Also in the episode, Charlie Sheen's ex Denise Richards made her housewives debut at a pool party at Kyle Richards' new home. The ladies got along well until Mellencamp made things awkward by accidentally blurting out Sheen's infamous "Winning" phrase as a joke.
"Don't say that!" Lisa Rinna and Erika Jayne laughed.
A sneak peak of later in the season shows Vanderpump and her longtime BFF Kyle Richards having a falling out.
